Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to analyze the themes in Turkish politics after the transition to multi-party system.
Course Content
National and international developments that prepared the way for the transition to multi-party system in the Turkish Republic starting with the mid-1940s onwards, the political debates triggered by the change of power in 1950 and the political consequences of social changes, military coups, constitutional developments, newly established parties and ideological polarizations are the issues to be dealt within the scope of this course.
