Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to introduce the concept and types of health tourism, which is one of the most important tourism types in the world, to understand the development of health tourism in the world and in Turkey, to raise awareness about health tourism and its services, to teach health tourism plans, programs and policies, and to provide support for trained manpower in health tourism.
Course Content
The course covers the place and importance of health tourism in the tourism industry, concepts related to health tourism, types of health tourism, supply and demand in health tourism, development of health tourism in the world and in Turkey, organization of health tourism, management in health tourism, marketing and process management, competition in health tourism, health tourism policies, plans and incentives.
