Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach the basic concepts, structure and operation of computer networks in the context of health informatics.

Course Content

Network components, IP addressing, TCP/IP model, local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wired/wireless connections, network security, routers, switches, and examples of network infrastructure used in healthcare institutions
