Course Goal / Objective
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and applications of the field of health data and information management.
Course Content
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and practices of health data and information management. Students will learn about types of health data, electronic health records, data standards, and health information systems, and will gain hands-on experience with data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting processes. They will also discuss the responsible use of health data, considering ethical, privacy, and data security issues.
