Course Goal / Objective

Students gain hands-on experience in data integration, cloud solutions, and security with open source software. They put their learning into practice and present their work through project-based work.

Course Content

This course covers the concept of open source software, including license types, open source communities, popular open source applications, data analysis, graphics, and operating systems. The use and advantages of open source software in health informatics are also explained with examples.
