Course Goal / Objective
To provide students with knowledge about the structure, operation, and basic components of hospital information systems.
Course Content
Definition and history of hospital information systems, patient record systems, clinical information systems, laboratory and imaging modules, decision support systems, user roles and authorizations, data security, HBYS software architecture, system integrations.
