Course Goal / Objective

To teach the basic physics and applications of radiotherapy. To inform students about the devices used in radiotherapy and treatment planning systems.

Course Content

Dose data, Dosimetric programming systems, Isodose distributions, Patient positioning and regimen methods, Electron beam therapy, Brachytherapy, Whole body irradiation, Intensity-modulated radiotherapy
