Course Goal / Objective
To provide awareness of safe working in CNC workshops and to provide information about legal legislation.
Course Content
This course covers the fundamental concepts of occupational health and safety, OHS legislation in Turkey, and physical, chemical, and mechanical risk factors encountered in CNC workshops. It specifically focuses on safe operating procedures for CNC machine tools, machine guards, selection of personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency management, fire safety, and prevention of occupational diseases. The course aims to provide students with the skills to conduct risk assessments and adopt a safety culture.
