Course Goal / Objective
Knowing the basic techniques of beach volleyball as a recreational activity. Being able to apply these techniques at a basic level. Understanding how beach volleyball events are organized and being able to organize them.
Course Content
This course covers the definition and historical development of beach volleyball, its effectiveness and purpose in leisure time, beach volleyball organizations worldwide and in Turkey, game rules, physical characteristics of beach volleyball players and game strategies, the fundamental differences between beach volleyball and indoor volleyball, and learning basic volleyball movement techniques.
