Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to have students get information and skills for technology planning and technology integration in education.

Course Content

Technological changes and innovation; technology leadership; technology planning and its importance; technology planning models and approaches; diffusion of innovation theory; technology planning process; applying and evaluating of a technology plan; rationales of information technologies in education; relationship between innovations in information technologies and design of learning environments; fundamentals of technology integration; relationship between learning theories and technology integration strategies; technology integration models; elements affecting success of technology integration.
