Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is for students to understand the functioning of biochemical metabolism and to be able to apply biochemical analyses in the diagnosis of related diseases.
Course Content
This course will cover sampling in clinical biochemistry, clinical enzymology, endocrinology, carbohydrate metabolism disorders, plasma proteins and lipids, liver and kidney functions, iron-mineral and electrolyte metabolism, CSF biochemistry, tumor markers, and quality control and standardization in clinical biochemistry laboratories.
