Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to increase students' awareness of occupational accidents and diseases they may encounter in their working lives, to make them aware of the risks in the workplace, to make them aware of the occupational health and safety organization that should be in place in the workplace, and to ensure that they know their legal rights.
Course Content
Occupational Health and Safety Culture, History, General Rules, occupational health and safety legislation, fires and prevention methods, occupational hygiene, workplace risk factors, personal protective equipment and its use, occupational accidents and first aid in occupational accidents, working conditions in radiation areas, risk assessment methodology.
