Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to gain knowledge about the routes of microbial spread, the infection chain and methods of breaking this chain, and the preparation of instruments, equipment and materials used in dental clinics and laboratories.

Course Content

This course covers topics such as cross-infection in dental services, their transmission routes and control measures, contamination and prevention, decontamination procedures, disinfectants, and precautions to be taken against contaminated materials.
