Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this lecture is to teach students the fundamental principles of ergonomics, to equip them with the ability to identify and assess ergonomic risks encountered in healthcare settings, and to contribute to the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders by fostering good working habits.

Course Content

This lecture covers the fundamental concepts of ergonomics, the relationship between people, work and the environment, anthropometry, workplace layout, musculoskeletal disorders among healthcare workers, office ergonomics, ergonomic risks in the fields of dental health and imaging, postural analysis, and ergonomic risk assessment methods.
