Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the legal nature, conditions, implementation procedures, and relationship with fundamental rights and freedoms of protective measures applied in criminal proceedings to ensure the discovery of material truth. It is intended for students to gain the ability to review the legality of protective measures and evaluate issues arising in practice.
Course Content
The course examines the concept, purpose, and constitutional foundations of protective measures in criminal procedure; arrest, custody, detention, judicial control, search, seizure, interception of communications, undercover investigator, technical surveillance, bodily examination, taking samples, seizure of assets, and compensation due to protective measures.
