Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to develop students’ advanced knowledge and skills in psychiatric nursing, and to provide them with advanced clinical competence in the assessment of mental disorders, as well as in the planning and implementation of care.
Course Content
Advanced assessment of mental disorders; therapeutic communication; psychiatric interview techniques; care planning for individuals and families; crisis intervention; psychopharmacology; psychosocial approaches; and clinical practice.
