Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to examine the interactions among the nervous, endocrine, and immune systems, evaluate their effects on mental health and behavior, and integrate this knowledge into nursing care.

Course Content

Interactions between Psychoneuroendocrinology and Psychoneuroimmunology; Hypothalamic–Pituitary–Adrenal Axis; stress and inflammation; cytokines; behavioral and biological responses; neuroimmunoendocrine mechanisms in psychiatric disorders and nursing approaches.
