Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to teach and apply current approaches in pain assessment and treatment.
Course Content
Definition of pain, classification, factors affecting; Evaluation of pain (scales according to clinics); Pain in surgery and investigations; National and international guidelines for pain; Pharmacological methods in pain; PCA, multimodal, blockers, algology (general approaches to pain); Pain management in trauma patients; Pain management in cancer patients; Labor pain; Nursing approaches in pain control; Pain in intensive care
