Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to examine the legal liability arising from defective and unsafe products from the perspective of the actors in the production and distribution chain; to analyse the relevant national and international regulations; and to equip students with the ability to devise solutions to specific disputes.
Course Content
This course examines legal liability arising from defective and unsafe products; the liability of manufacturers, importers and distributors; the regime governing damages and the burden of proof; and product safety within the framework of international regulations.
