Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to familiarize students with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, which are widely used in industry, to investigate the working principles of their components, to design and install a hydraulic/pneumatic system based on circuit design and acquired knowledge, and to explain troubleshooting and maintenance/repair of hydraulic/pneumatic machine tools.
Course Content
Identifying hydraulic circuit components, creating hydraulic circuit diagrams, diagnosing hydraulic system malfunctions, troubleshooting hydraulic malfunctions, identifying pneumatic circuit components, creating pneumatic circuit diagrams, designing electropneumatic systems, diagnosing pneumatic system malfunctions, troubleshooting pneumatic malfunctions, performing periodic system checks, performing periodic system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing faulty machinery.
