Course Goal / Objective
Bu dersin amacı iktisat bilimine katkıda bulunmuş büyük insanlar ve önemli düşünce okullarını anlatmaktır. Günümüzde uygulanan iktisat politikalarının çoğunluğu bu iktisatçıların ve okullarının düşüncelerinin ürünü olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Günümüzdeki iktisadi sorunları ve önerilen iktisat politikalarını anlamak için iktisat bilimine katkıda bulunmuş bu insanların düşüncelerini öğrenilmesi gerekmektedir.
Course Content
Bu derste iktisat biliminin tarihsel gelişimi ve evrimi anlatılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda derste iktisat biliminin kurucu babaları olarak bilinen Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Jeremy Bentham, John Stuart Mill, Alfred Marshall, J. Maynard Keynez, gibi duayen iktisatçıların görüşleri anlatılmaktadır.
