Course Goal / Objective
This course includes the following topics and activities: Basic painting theories and concepts; activities that develop visual and cultural knowledge and skills to analyze a work of art in terms of period, technique, and content; activities aimed at perceiving painting as a unique means of expression; activities that develop the ability to create a visual language appropriate to one's own inclinations by experimenting with different techniques and materials and illustrating them with works of art; and exhibition visits.
Course Content
This course includes the following topics and activities: Basic painting theories and concepts; activities that develop visual and cultural knowledge and skills to analyze a work of art in terms of period, technique, and content; activities aimed at perceiving painting as a unique means of expression; activities that develop the ability to create a visual language appropriate to one's own inclinations by experimenting with different techniques and materials and illustrating them with works of art; and exhibition visits.
