Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to provide associate degree students with the fundamental principles and methods of sterilization and disinfection processes; to enable them to acquire scientific knowledge on the control of microorganisms, breaking the chain of infection, and preventing infections. Within the scope of the course, it is intended that students gain knowledge about different sterilization and disinfection techniques and comprehend the importance of infection control in healthcare services.
