Course Goal / Objective
To teach mining engineering students the fundamental principles of electrical and electromechanical systems, and to enable them to understand and safely and efficiently operate electrical equipment used in underground and open-pit mining operations.
Course Content
fundamental principles of electrical energy and the systems related to its generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. Within this course, students learn basic concepts such as current, voltage, resistance, power, and energy, and aim to analyze direct and alternating current circuits, understand the operating principles of electrical machines, and evaluate systems used in industrial applications in a safe and efficient manner.
