Course Goal / Objective
To provide knowledge on logistics management and fundamental logistics activities, and to introduce the types of problems encountered in logistics and their solution approaches.
Course Content
Introduction to Logistics, concepts of Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, fundamental logistics activities, types of logistics problems, mathematical models of logistics problems and solution methods, Traveling Purchaser Problems, Traveling Salesman Problems, Vehicle Routing Problems and solution methods, Distribution Logistics and its applications, Procurement Logistics and its applications, Production Logistics and its applications
