Course Goal / Objective
The goal is to provide students with the skills to apply technical drawing standards in a digital environment. Students learn to create, edit, and document 2D drawings of industrial designs and machine parts in accordance with industry standards. Furthermore, they gain the competence to create precise and accurate technical drawings for manufacturing processes by utilizing the fundamental tools and commands of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Course Content
Students learn to create two-dimensional technical drawings of machine parts using AutoCAD software, utilize geometric drawing commands, and master dimensioning and documentation techniques in accordance with standards. Furthermore, by grasping the logic of parametric drawing, they acquire professional competence in the processes of preparing assembly and detail drawings.
