Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to provide students with practical training on the general characteristics of vegetable varieties, production volumes in Turkey and worldwide, their classification, ecological requirements, propagation methods, site selection and establishment of facilities, procedures to be followed during production, harvest criteria, and post-harvest processing and storage.

Course Content

Describes the general characteristics of vegetables, their growing regions and production volumes, their ecological requirements, propagation methods, and the tasks performed during production.
