Course Goal / Objective

This course begins with a general classification of welding methods. The working principles of Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Gas-Shielded Welding methods are examined, followed by their workshop application principles. The program covers the basic characteristics and industrial application areas of Oxy-Fuel, Submerged Arc, and other special welding methods. In addition, workshop safety, consumable selection, and basic welding defects are covered to build the students' foundational professional competencies.

Course Content

To provide students with general knowledge about fundamental welding methods; to reinforce the foundation in shielded metal arc and gas-shielded welding types through workshop practices, and to equip them with the basic welding skills required by the industry.
