General Information
The Master's Program in Architecture started the recruitment of students in the Spring semester of 1995-1996 academic year in connection with the Cukurova University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences. In order to obtain a Master of Architecture degree, this program consists of at least seven credit courses, special field courses, seminar course and thesis work provided that it is not less than 21 credits. Seminar course and thesis work are not included in the loan and evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. Master's program with thesis consists of at least 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses and thesis work, including seminar course, but not less than 60 ECTS credits. The maximum number of courses that can be taken in Master's program with thesis is ten. Additional courses may be taken upon the request of the student and the supervisor, the department / department with the decision of the institute and the approval of the board of directors of the institute. Course stage; 60 ECTS credits, including thesis courses and seminar; cannot be less than 60 ECTS including the specialization field course and thesis study. Students are enrolled in the thesis study every semester. The evaluation of the thesis work is determined by the jury decision as a result of the thesis defense. A student cannot take more than 15 credits in a semester except for a specialization course and seminar. Seminar course is held at the course stage. The period of completion of the master's program with thesis is four semesters regardless of whether it is registered for each semester, starting from the period in which the program is registered, except for the period in which the scientific preparation is completed. The period of the students who have completed the semester can be reduced by one semester if the course duration, total number of required courses, course credit and ECTS course credit conditions are fulfilled. The duration of the thesis starts on the date on which the thesis summary / proposal is accepted at the institute board. The duration of the thesis cannot be less than two semesters. At the end of four semesters, the students cannot successfully complete the credit courses and seminar courses included in the teaching plan or fail to fulfill the conditions / criteria of the University. If the student fails in the thesis study or does not participate in the thesis defense within the maximum periods, the student is dismissed from the University. Students who do not successfully complete the seminar or have a CGPA below 2.50 cannot pass the thesis stage.

Goals
''The aim of this course is to provide the students with the skills of contemporary development, to provide them with scientific developments and to gain experience through innovative approaches. In this direction, students will be trained in contemporary and professional level by increasing their technical skills through practical studies in seminars and application laboratories and studios as well as theoretical and cultural courses. Students will determine their specialization areas according to their interests.
Objectives
The aim of the Master of Science Program in Architecture, physical environment control, carrier system, building elements and building materials; who are creative and innovative, creative, innovative, environmentally friendly, national and international scientific and technological studies, new generations to leave a livable environment to consume less natural resources and energy to be conscious of current, future-oriented building technologies to design effectively and accurately and to train successful professional professionals in the national or international academy or sector.
Specific Admission Requirements
To graduate from the Architecture Undergraduate Program and to fulfill the foreign language and ALES exam requirements specified in the application conditions of Çukurova University Institute of Science and Technology. To provide other conditions, if any, specified in the application conditions. To show sufficient success in the written and oral exams held after the application.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
To have successfully completed 120 ECTS including at least seven credit courses, courses on specialized fields, and seminar courses, provided that it is not less than 21 credits, and to be successful by presenting the thesis. Graduate students who complete their master's thesis work receive the title of Master Architect at the end of the program.
Access to Further Studies
'Graduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to the doctoral program at Çukurova University or at any university.

'There is no requirement for compulsory internship in the master's program with thesis.

'In the master program, double major, minor program, and joint program opportunities are not included. Students can benefit from the Erasmus exchange program during their master's education.

'In addition to working as specialists in the areas where architects are needed, they can participate in architectural doctoral programs. They can work as part-time or full-time lecturers in related fields of universities.
