General Information
STATISTICS Master's degree program with thesis is a program containing 120 ECTS and the normal completion period is 2 academic years consisting of 4 semesters. 60 ECTS of the student's total credits must be course credits (minimum 7 courses with at least 21 local credits and a seminar course) and the remaining 60 ECTS must be earned from the master thesis. Additional supportive courses are given for the students coming from outside of the field in order to create an infrastructure for statistical graduate program by applying the scientific preparation program with the recommendation of department head, department and the decision of the related institute. The graduate program in Statistics offers higher education for students from branches such as mathematics, industrial engineering and econometrics.

Goals
The aim of the program is to train qualified individuals who have the ability of solving problems in various areasand learn mathematical methods and statistical package programs used in statistics, collect the statistical data and optimize use of resources.

Our Department considers providing a good field knowledge to our students as its primary goal, acting with an understanding that closely follows the scientific developments in the world and constantly renews itself.
Specific Admission Requirements
Admission to Master's degree Program in Statistics is coordinated by Institue of Graduate Studies in Science Regulations in Çukurova University.
Qualification Awarded
Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Master of Science (MS) degree in Statistics.

Access to Further Studies
Students who successfully complete the MSc degree in this program can study in their respective fields or in related fields of PhD programs, provided that they obtain valid grades from Academic Staff and Graduate Education Entrance Exam and have sufficient knowledge of English.
