General Information
The Master Program of German Language Teachingis a two-year program. The first year comprises theoretical and practical lessons. In the second year, the thesis is prepared. In the first semester, the theoretical lessons include subjects from the fields of linguistics, language aquisition, literature and methodology. The aim of the program is to provide the students with a detailed introduction into scientific topics and improve their scientific skills through examples. The students specialise on the subject of their thesis.

The objective of the graduate program is to provide students with a strong background in the theoretical and methodological aspects in the field and to help them acquire skills for research. Program lasts minimum two years. Students are required to take the courses and 1 seminar and a special studies course.

Goals
The aim of the course is to enable the student to gain the ability of accessing, compiling, evaluating and interpreting information by doing scientific research in the field of German language education.
Objectives
The aim is to educate qualified faculty members for academic units that teach and educate German in Turkey.
Specific Admission Requirements
Minimum 2.20 GPA and YDS or equivalent get a language score of at least 60 on a German test

The "Expert" degree is earned.

Access to Further Studies
The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate foreign language proficiency.
