The department offers a wide range of courses in all related areas of the discipline, including political science, international politics, regional politics, economics, international political economy and foreign policy analysis.

Çukurova University International Relations and Globalization Program offers an academic staff who have got their PhD degrees from universities abroad, and distinguishes itself from other international relations departments in our country. Those who choose to pursue a degree in International Relations at Cukurova University considerably benefit from the department’s multidisciplinary approach. The curriculum is designed to help students in acquiring the relevant analytical skills to explain and discuss substantive issues in International Relations. In the program, which has an understanding of education based on mutual interaction, courses are taught with techniques such as presentations, debates and assignments for taking responsibility, leading and working effectively, individually or in a team, in order to make students ready for business life.

Goals

The main purpose of the program is to educate students in the field of international relations, and to help students and academic staff reach the highest level of their potentials and achievements and achieve desired levels of research management by constantly innovating in education, research, creativity and initiative.

Objectives

The main goal of the program is to create a diverse, open-minded, questioning, thought-provoking, participatory and inclusive education program so that students can realize their professional goals. Furthermore, providing academic support to students' life after graduation by creating a dynamic student profile devoted to research, education and counseling/guidance is another goal of the program.

Applicants must hold a BA degree.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

In order to graduate from this program, students are required to successfully complete at least 30 credits, 60 ECTS and to prepare a project in 3 academic terms. Students must also meet the academic average requirement specified in the Çukurova University graduate studies regulation.

Access to Further Studies

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain an MA degree (Tezli Yüksek Lisans) in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency.
