General Information
ELT Doctorate program offers theoretical and applied courses to equip learners with skills required to conduct research through an interdisciplinary perspective. The content of the program covers comtemporary issues in order to provide learners with knowledge contributive to academic research. PhD candidates are aimed to graduate from the program with knowledge and experience to pursue their future academic works.

Goals
The program aims to equips learners with skills and knowledge required to plan and conduct scientific research in the related field. To this end, the program also aims to establish a theoretical background in learners.
Objectives
The program focuses on current issues to contribute to the professional development of candidates within the field of teaching English as a foreign language. The major purpose of the program is to bring the learners to an advanced level of competence by building upon their existent knowledge. The other objective of the program is to help the learners gain skills to carry out research independently.
Specific Admission Requirements
The program accepts learners in accordance with the requirements of Ç.U. Regulations for Graduate Program. Thus, the candidates are obliged to provide their ALES, GPA and foreign language grade. They are also asked for a written and oral exam.

The candidates who completes the program with success are given doctorate degree
