Goals
The main aim of this program is to enhance the field knowledge of students and improve their research skills at an advanced level and gain them competencies of conducting original scientific studies and publishing.
Objectives
The goal of program is to educate professionals and academicians of future conduct original studies providing innovation for science as independent or a group member in Curriculum and instruction fields, renew him/herself, contemporary, adopting science as a form of life, following and applying international scientific knowledge.
Specific Admission Requirements
Students having master’s degree in Educational Sciences could apply for this program. Besides, within scope of “Regulation on Postgraduate Education in Çukurova University”, evaluation of ALES (academic personnel and postgraduate education entrance exam), graduate grade point average (GPA) of bachelor and master’s programs, Foreign language point average and interview points altogether is required.

It is necessary to complete at least 240 ECTS, including at least seven courses, seminars, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis work.

This phd degree provide the graduates with many rights and priviliges necessary for their occupations. The graduates of Curriculum and instruction Phd program could apply for Assistant Professor positions of state or private universities. They are employed with titles as educational sciences specialist, professional teacher, academic coordinator, education administrator etc. in public and private education, health, law, military, social service institutions. Besides, they could be assigned as educational specialists in various public or private offices in-service education departments.
