General Information
Landscape Architecture Program, which started in early 1970s has a vision to advance in education, research and application fields. The program pioneers teaching and research activities in landscape planning and landscape design at various spatial scales and aims to compete in these fields at national and international levels with support of its motivated faculty staff. The mission of the department is to develop methods for education, research and to share outcomes of these efforts at the largest extent. Its main target is to achieve planning and design policies, concepts and practices together with social and economic needs while respecting the ecological integrity of environment through an integrated program of teaching and research.

Specific Admission Requirements
Placement through a centralized national university placement examination (ÖSYS). Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM) is responsible to place students according to their ÖSYS scores.

She receives a diploma in Landscape Architecture.

Qualification Requirements of Graduation
A bachelor's degree in the field of LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE is given to students who successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (for a total of 240 ECTS), achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00, and get a passing grade from the internship report they prepared with their professional internships.
Access to Further Studies
The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to graduate studies in same field or related areas if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the regulations of "Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee", which includes ALES, general point of average, and the interview.
Internship
Department internships consist of 22 (twenty-two) working days at the construction site and 22 (twenty-two) working days as an office internship. The student completes their internship during the summer break following the completion of their 4th and 6th semesters in the department.

Work Placement
There is no workplace training in the program.

There are domestic and international student exchange programs such as Mevlana, Farabi, and Erasmus.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of this program can be employed at Ministry of Environment and Urbanism, Ministry of Forestry and Water Works, Development Planning and Parks and Recreation Areas Departments of Municipalities, Environmental Research Institutes, specifically working on planning, design, natureconservation, environmental management, EIA, SEIA. Graduates can also work in private sector in Plannind and Design Studios, building constraction companies, companies acting in tourism and recreation sector and national and international environmental agencies.
