Course Goal / Objective

Weather events and climate have direct impacts on agricultural production. For this reason, in the course, climate information, weather events, causes, and how the effects and comprehensive information about the macro and micro-climatology are aimed to teach. Furthermore, climate change and the effects on agricultural production are aimed to instruct.

Course Content

This course is related to weather events and climate definitions, characteristics of the atmosphere, energy balance, climate parameters, temperature, radiation, precipitation, evaporation, air pressure, humidity, condensation, winds, and the measurement techniques and methods of formation air masses, fronts, global climate and Turkey’s climate and includes climate change information such as the impact of climate on agricultural production and natural resources.
