Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach the basic principles and equations of combustion

Fuels and combustion, Thermodynamic property relations, Gas mixtures & Gas-vapor mixtures, Chemical reactions, Chemical and phase equilibrium, Combustion and thermochemistry, Term project, Chemical kinetics, Some important chemical mechanisms, Laminar premixed flames, Term project evaluation
