Course Goal / Objective

Engineering students will understand that self-employment is an important alternative to becoming an employee

Course Content

Science, technology and engineering. History of science and technology. Relations between science, technology, industry and economy. History of industry and technology in Turkey. Innovation, entrepreneurships, patent, know-how, royalty, risk capital, Law of Copyright in Turkey. Law of Patent in Turkey. Research and development, sources for the financial support for R&D projects from industry. TTGV(Technology Foundation of Turkey). TUBITAK. KOSGEB. Capital. Feasibility.
