Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to recognize of marine environment, to understand the effect of these conditions on marine organisms, to learn about the interaction between these living things to be informed the knowledge about the production from the ocean and together with the exploitation ways and seasonal and spatial changes of production in seas.
Course Content
Ocean and seas, divisions of ocean and related organisms, abiotic environmental factors in the oceans and their effect on organisms, currents in ocean and related organisms, interaction between the ocean-atmosphere, ocean-land and ocean-floor, and their effect on marine life, predation, parasitism, symbiosis and commensalism between the marine organisms, morphology, feeding, reproduction and distribution of marine organisms, organic matter production and circulation in ocean, seasonal and spatial changing in production, primary, secondary and tertiary production in ocean, food chain, food web and production.
