Course Goal / Objective
Teaching nano-sized production tecniques and showing how produced materials' electrical, optical, magnetic, and mechanical properties are used in solving engineering problems.
Course Content
What is nano-technology, Macro,micro and nano structures, Synthesis methods of Nano-structures, Plasma arc method, Chemical vapor sedimentation, Sol-gel, Electrodeposition, Grinding, Aquisition of natural nanoparticles, Methods used in examining nano-structures, Microscopic techniques (AFM, SEM, TEM), Spectroscopic methods (FTIR, Raman, X-rays), Nanotechnological applications, Paint, Textile (medical, technical, ecological, home and smart textile products), Health practices, Potential future applications.
