Course Goal / Objective
This course is to help the students understand the concepts and principles of basic physics. It is also aimed to help these derste students to develop an understanding of the application of physics concepts and principles to daily life.
Course Content
Measuring and Unit Systems, Vectors, Velocity and Acceleration, Smooth Linear Motion: Constant and Smooth Accelerating-Slowing Motion, Motion on Earth: Free Fall and Vertical Motion, Equilibrium and Moment, Newton's Laws, Work, Power, Energy and Energy Conservation, Heat And Temperature: Heat sources, diffusion, isolation, effects, expansion; Transition, Reflection Laws, Refraction, Static Electric Charges and Electrical Forces, Simple Electric Circuits (DC), Resistance and Ohm's Law. Series and Parallel Connected Circuits, Magnetic Interactions, Magnets and Varieties, Waves and oscillations, Atomic particle physics and astronomy.
