Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide knowledge and skills about basic concepts of the field, to learn the content and basic approaches of the curriculum, to use methods and strategies in lesson and effective teaching of values and religious concepts.

Course Content

Basic concepts of religious education, Historical development of religious education curriculums and legal basis of religious teaching, Basic approaches of religion and ethics curriculum, Some principles and methods can be used in religion and ethics lesson, teaching values and religious concepts in RE, Usage of the verses and hadiths in religion and ethics lesson, Drama and educational games practices in RE, Measurement and evaluation in RE.
