Course Goal / Objective

Identify the parts that make up the computer. Having information about computer malfunctions. To resolve computer failures.

Course Content

PC; Historical development and logic; Entrance to the mainland; Introduction to CPU; CPU and motherboard. Bridges; Details of the CPU; Moores law, Cache; Data and instructions; CPU examples; RAM; RAM technologies; Details, Chipsetler; Input / Output (I / O) system; Slots such as ISA, PCI; Busses; Adapters, Hard disks; Floppy, CDROM, etc .; ATA, SATA, a collection of computer kiosk strategies and solutions to hardware problems. Overclocking and benchmark concepts. Multimedia system, system software and terminology, new technologies.

PLO05 - Develop a personal proposal, a product or a group of processes for the solution of a problem related to the field as an indicator of the skills of working independently and taking responsibility. Take responsibility of an individual or group projects and accomplishing his/her undertaken missions.
PLO06 - Follow current problems and applications and determining information and skills to undertake learning missions for the following stage. Apply the solution for the problem on the basis of scientific and ethical values when she/he confronts a learning problem.
