Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach students, legal relationship between employee and employer and its consequences in detail.

Course Content

In Individual Labour Law; the basic concepts, rights and obligations of employers and workers, labor contracts and the termination of this contract, working conditions of the workers, Compensation under the contract of employment, occupational health and safety etc. topics will be discussed.

LO01 To acquire the necessery skill for interpretation and application on the basic rules of national and international labor law.
LO02 To acquire the necessery knowledge on the rights and obligations resulting from an employment contract
LO03 To acquire necessary skill to find and practise methods of legal interpretation.
LO04 To acquire the necessery skill to find appropriate solution related to labor conflicts between employer and the worker, working under an employment contract
LO05 To acquire the capacity to organize the working conditions as provided by the legal rules of labor law.
LO06 To acquire the necessery knowledge on the termination and its procedure of an employment contract without a valid reason.
LO07 To acquire the skill of the interpretation and application of occupational health and safety as provided by the legal rules of labor law.
LO08 To acquire the skill to create usefull solutions for the legal problems resulting from labor relations, practical study on the cases provided by supreme court
