Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this lesson is to gain the skill of making soil survey and to teach procedures used in soil survey and land use planning.Kinds and properties of soil surveys,kinds of mapping units,procedures of soil surveys,The cartographic materials used,preparation of interpretation maps from soil surveys and using these maps in land use planning

Course Content

Aims of soil surveys, kind of soil surveys, kind of mapping units, procedures of soil surveys, cartographic materials used in soil survey and interpretation, writing soil survey repors, land capability classification and land use planning.
