Course Goal / Objective

To learn the importance of the environment on tourism development and the effects of general concepts related to the environment, the effects of tourism activities on the natural environment, ecological risk analysis, the importance of the environment in terms of sustainable tourism.

Course Content

The development of tourism in the world and in Turkey, the environment and environmental values, pollution on environmental values, environmental economics, tourism in relation to the environment, sustainable development, sustainable tourism policy and planning.
