Hospitality Management program covers tourism, business and hotel management lectures. "Hospitality Management" degree is given after 4 year. Training lectures take a part in the program with theoritical and practical courses as well. Program has graduated first graduates in 2007.

The aim of the pragram is to graduate middle and high level manager candidates who has knowledge about business basics, structure and mechanism of the tourism sector, managerial skills and ethics, foreign languages, communication skills, advanced skills for inovativeness and synthetizing knowledge, skills to use knowledge technologies, theoritical and practical knowledge as hospitality sector needs.

Orientation Staff

Goals

To educate qualified labor force with entrepreneurship and creativity skills and to carry out tourism researches which can realize the production and management of tourist services.

Objectives

Using the education and research skills that it has developed continuously, it is firstly to create basic tourism awareness and knowledge in the immediate vicinity and then to bring this accumulation to the international level.

Specific Admission Requirements

Candidate students are being accepted due to the "placement result document "issued by The Center of Measument, Selection and Placement (Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi-OSYM).

Qualification Requirements of Graduation

Relevant vocational high school graduates could register without university entrance exams while the other high school graduates are placed according to their YGS-6 points taken on the university entrance exams.

Access to Further Studies

Individuals graduated from this program can be registered to post-graduate programs related to areas of graduate program within the regulations of "Ç.Ü. Lisansüstü Eğitim ve Öğretim Yönetmeliği" as with GPA, ALES, and Engagement Exams Results be used.

Internship

It's obliged to undergo training for one whole semester period based on curriculum. Training places are tourism facilities and/or institutions operated in domestic and international areas as mentioned in department tarining directions document in detail. Training period is 14 weeks.
