Course Goal / Objective

ocuses on the ways to set standards in hotels, restaurants, airlines and other hospitality companies and explores monitoring, evaluating and redesigning the quality requirements in tourism industry.

Course Content

Total Quality Management, Quality Teams,Quality Circles and Techniques (Brainstorming, data collection, Pareto Analysis, Cause-Effect Analysis-Ishikawa Diagram), Stages of team work, 5 S System-Clean and Order Management, BPR: Restructuring of Business Process, Reengineering and Human Engineering, Definition and types of standard. ISO 9000:2008 Quality Assurance Systems,Total Quality Management in Tourism Sector, Quality management in the hospitality industry; planning and organization as to time management in hospitality industry, Performance Assessment and Evaluation of Total Quality Management.
