Course Goal / Objective

The purpose of this lecture is the oldest mines, ancient works, their construction techniques, usage purposes, forms and decorations. It is also to introduce their relations with contemporary neighboring cultures.

Course Content

The following topics are covered in this lecture:The first traces of mining in Anatolia, Mineral Elements, The stages of development of Mining, Inception Phase, Mineral Dressing Techniques .
