Course Goal / Objective

To introduce business concept and functions of the business, production systems, to inform about feasibility and factory organization for textile enterprises to take advantage of the foundation, strengthen quality control knowledge and to teach focusing on quality topics such as statistical process control study. T inform the students after graduation about production planning, market research at firms. The course introduces students to date in modern management techniques of textile enterprises .

Course Content

General definitions and concepts, production and production systems, functions of production management (preliminary planning, planning, control), factory location selection, factory and production organization, workplace regulation, productivity, product development, demand forecasting, technology selection, logistics management , capacity planning, stock management, quality management
